Windows Live Messenger is now ready for deployment via GPO, AD or Altiris etc.
You may also choose to create an Administrative Install Point using this command;
msiexec /a filename.msi TARGETDIR=c:\temp /qb(the target directory must pre exist) The Administrative Install Point (AIP) files can be modified with your patched files.
Also note that when adding your patched files, you should be replacing existing files.
Be sure you have the correct path for the file msidcrl40.dll if it is among your patched files because it is not where you expect it to be within the AIP files.
Here are a few Registry Table deletions useful for unattended installs
delete HkcuAutoLaunch to stop messenger from running on every boot.
delete msoridCrashReportingPersistentRunKey… and OfficeCrashReportingTools...
to allow for SVCPACK compatibility,
Orca is downloadable here: http://www.picsbook.net/shark007/files/Orca.Msi" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;
o si alguien tiene el instalador .msi que le haya funcionado en el svpack o alguna info que resuelva esto se lo agradeceria.
